Chairman Donald Lamay mentioned to the board that Vernon Yoder approached him regarding 2 people coming to the area, 1 would like to have a small engine repair if he can get the permits and the other would like to make doors (Adirondack cabin style doors). Vernon is not here tonight, will wait to see what happens; if the 2 gentleman come here and submit the paperwork or if Vernon comes in.
Dan Wolfe went over the open special use permits. They are all due for inspections. Brandon Auker (meat market on Roosevelt) is now on 104 at Millers store. He still wants to do deer processing but needs to come in and see me. Harlan Stauffer took his windmill down – (Dan) will speak with Harlan to find out what he’s doing. Marlin Yoder is done, no more dog kennel.
Chairman Donald Lamay asked why the town board renewed the junkyard permits and not the planning board.
Richard Kurz – stated the town board okayed the original permit applications before the planning board existed and has continued yearly reviews.
Dan Wolfe – There are 3 (Dunn’s, Chaffee’s & Lauricella’s). Dunn’s & Chaffee’s are inactive but do not want to lose it so they renew every year.
NO FURTHER BUISNESS WAS DISCUSSED
